Its Holiday Decorating Season!

Fall is coming to an end here in Colorado. The mountains that surround our small town and others through-out have finished displaying the beautiful colors of the trees that decorate the mountainsides. It's quite popular around here to take a scenic drive along the winding forest roads to soak in and admire all of the amazing red, orange and golden colored leaves before they drop, and the wind carries them away.

Now that October is over, and Halloween is passed, who else has dragged out all of their holiday decor?! (If you have already done this before Halloween was over, no judgment here. Your just ahead of the game!).

I think that decorating for the holidays is one of my favorite seasons because it seems covers a longer stretch of time before you need to swap out again for the next seasons decorating, you know? I don't know if it really is longer or if it just feels that way because the days seem a little shorter and the temps are a little colder.

We have been so focused on building our home along with building all of the essentials around our property to run a successful farmstead (fencing, outbuildings, barns, shelters for the animals, etc.) over these last 5 years that I haven't truly dove back in to decorating for the holidays until this year.

There is something so satisfying about pulling out the fall or winter decor that really makes your house feel like a home. When we are able to decorate the front porch, it allows someone to express themselves and their personalities in a fun and unique way. Whether it's on trend or not, it's individual to everyone and their tastes!

This year, I picked up the CUTEST snowman decor for our front door from Sunny Daze Decor - your one stop for this holiday must haves in decoration! (pst- shipping is always free there!). I love how tall it is, making it easy for people passing by our little rural dirt road to see it.

Standing at around 4' tall, his little top hat on his head and mini-Christmas tree in his arm he has some serious frosty vibes.

This little snowman guy is quite sturdy and very well made for its crazy affordable price you guys! This will be a piece that will last years of holiday decorating. Its timeless too! So, it will never go out of style!

But don't limit him to just next to your door. Some other great places to use him are inside your home too. Maybe set him up in the corner of your foyer for a fun focal point when guests enter your home.

I think he would be super cute next to a real mini-Christmas tree too!

The ideas are endless here.

If you haven't already clicked on the link above to check him out, here is the link again. If cute little Frosties aren't your style, don't worry because they have a huge variety to cater to anyone taste! They even have nutcrackers and gnomes' you guys! Sunny Daze Decor truly is your one stop for all holiday items you need checked off your list.
