FARM KIDS LIFE

Here you will catch a glimpse into a day in the life of being a kid raised on a homestead. Each one of our kids have their own little share of work here. Believe it or not, as each one gets a little older and able, they have each asked us if they could have a chore too! 

We don't put more on them than what they can handle according to their age, ability and maturity. Here, farm steading is our way of life. While some chose to farmstead on a hobby level, and that absolutely fine, here we have made the choice to live it. 

It's nice that are children are choosing to be a part of this life with us. They are learning many life skills that have been slowly dwindling away in today's society due to how easily and accessible grocery stores are now. 

Although we aren't completely self-sustaining, there are many things we still have to buy from the grocery store simply because we do not have the means nor the climate to do it all on our 5 acres. We do aim to grow or raise as much of our meat, fruit and veggies as we can.
